This table is very sturdy and heavy! It works great in our short term rental dining room. The finish had imperfections upon arrival and a new table top was sent to us, but it also had some imperfections in the veneer surface. It now has a "well loved" look and a bit of a patina so it actually works well for us. The first image shows the size with one additional insert, it comes with one other insert, so it can extend to quite a length. The other two images show the type of imperfections that are across most of the surface. The white bits and the cup ring are shown after a good cleaning with a damp cloth and they are not removable. I love the table set! It’s a great blend of elegance and everyday use. Feels heavy and sturdy and you can’t tell there’s a veneer. Chairs have a nice cushion and are comfortable. The open backs of the chairs and ends of the table keep the piece from weighing down a room. Inspect table and chairs carefully asap. Mine came with multiple cracks in various pieces. Box came all taped up. Dining set is pretty. Not what I thought I was ordering. Seems cheaply made. Seats are compact so you can sit closer to the table while eating. Feels like plastic finishing even when it says wood. Quality and color of seats are more yellowish than cream and seems to be able to show dirt or stain if you spill something. Top is cut up into small wood and not a solid surface.
