We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. The item arrived well packaged and installation was relatively easy. The very last part of install was the light and there were two male connections instead of a male female, but just cut the end off and hardwired it not a big deal.
