Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. As another reviewer mentioned, it did not come with instructions as to whether it requires being seasoned or how to do so. Will update once we actually prepare a meal.. Julie. Crestwood, KY. I'm having trouble giving this pan an actual review, because i haven't gotten a chance to use it for it's intended use. Right after I got it, the lid shattered (no fault of Henckels), and the company does not offer a replacement lid. I love the concept of the pan... I just can't use it until I find a comparable lid.. Very good product. Jose. Chula Vista, CA. Mon Dec 15 2025

A classic full-size, flat-bottomed wok for stir-frying and sautéing. Aluminized steel combines superb heat conduction with weight and durability, and will never rust. The brushed stainless steel handle provides a secure grip and the helper handle makes it easy to lift, even when sizzling hot.

This wok is exactly what I needed and getting as an “open box” item made it possible for my budget. We eat a lot of stir fried vegetables and I needed a wok that works on an induction range. This heavy duty, very large wok has an extra handle opposite the regular one, making lifting it from the stove easy. Its non-stick surface works well. I believe one could put it into the dishwasher but it is simple to wash since nothing sticks and it’s really too large to fit. So, right product, quality brand, good price equals another Wayfair success story.. Janie. Greenleaf, WI. Fri Jan 30 2026

Let’s be honest, the most undesirable part of the cooking process is the cleanup. With the Black Cube™ Quick Release, this annoyance is a thing of the past, thanks to an award-winning cooking surface aptly named Quick Release: It features a stainless steel pattern of small pixels that are raised above a recessed layer of high-quality PFOA-free nonstick coating, thereby combining the benefits of stainless steel and nonstick in one revolutionary cooking surface. Black Cube™ Quick Release sears, braises, and browns meat exceptionally well, like a stainless steel pan, and it perfectly sautés, fries, or stir-fries seafood and vegetables. Or make a delicious stew knowing that the heat will be consistent. Designed to offer the best in durability and performance, feel free to use metal utensils! Yes, we mean it. The pan feels good in the hand and it is large enough to hold a lot but not too big to be unwieldy. It features an ergonomic stay-cool handle and a helper handle. After you cooked your delicious meal, clean-up is quick and mess-free – just the way you know it from a nonstick pan. Or simply place it in your dishwasher! This innovative pan is safe to use on any stovetop (including induction) and can even be placed in the oven at up to 500° F. Black Cube™ Quick Release is a 3-ply construction of stainless/aluminum/stainless. There is so much versatility with this pan that the possibilities are endless. Don't forget to get the matching-sized lid, which gives even more cooking options. Make cooking delicious meals easier than ever with this exciting cookware innovation.

I used my brother's Black Cube wok and loved the way the food didn't stick, it cooked evenly, and we could use his metal utensils to stir up the ingredients. I had to get one for myself. I wish it came with a lid and maybe it does now but that feature was not available when I ordered mine. Great addition to my culinary collection.. Catherine. Claremont, CA. Thu Feb 22 2018

Experience even heat and exceptional release with Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware. Constructed with heavy gauge anodized aluminum for durability and even heat distribution throughout the sides and bottom of the pan, Viking Hard Anodized Cookware features a stainless-steel base making it exceptionally stable and compatible with most cooktops, however, it is not induction capable. Accepted worldwide as one of the most conductive metals for cooking, the aluminum is strengthened through the anodizing process until it is twice as hard as stainless steel, giving you durability without giving up conductivity. Featuring a titanium infused Triple-layer nonstick for superior release, durability and longevity, even when using metal utensils. The multi-layer coating improves release and protection even if the top layer is scratched over time. The fry pans feature flared rims for easy tossing and drip-free pouring. Viking Hard Anodized Cookware can be used on most cooktops, in the oven, or on the grill up to 500°F, making it perfect for finishing dishes the same way a professional chef does. Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to extend the life of the nonstick and to keep your cookware looking new. Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
