Arriving as a 2-piece set, this counter stool draws on the clean-lined arches of its silhouette to define your space with a sleek, minimalist look. The stool bases are pretty heavy and feel sturdy. The packaging was horrible but they don't look to be damaged. We haven't assembled these yet so I can't speak to the ease of that. They're definitely the exact style and color I was looking for - a polished gold finish with a black seat cushion. They will match perfectly with our newly remodeled black/white/gold kitchen. Though this will be the last large item I purchase from Wayfair. The box they came in said they were white which leads me to believe it wasn't the original box, that the chairs were repackaged in a previously used box. I purchased six of these chairs in early December 2021 in grey and they look great and are comfortable for sitting. The color is a darker matte shade of grey. The foam padding is soft and the back of the chair has a slight curve that supports your back and promotes good posture. The seat height of this chair allows it to fit under my table that is 30 inches high measured from the bottom of the table top to floor but the table also has a skirt of about 2 inch underneath that limits legroom. This skirt makes the functional table height 28 inches. The metal legs are sturdy, there is no wobble. Though not upholstered in real leather, these look like they cost more than they did.
