This is a very efficient small quartz heater, comes fully assembled. Out of the box, we could not use it right away because there was a broken wheel, which did not allow it to sit safely on the floor. Wayfair was very helpful in returning the item for a replacement of the unit. The new one came intact, heats nicely according to thermostat which is preset to 86 degrees F. The operating instructions were not completely clear. There is a power switch on the back of the unit which must be turned on after it is plugged into a wall socket. The the remote then is used to adjust the thermostat up or down to adjust heat, and also has a button for high or low flame.. Beverley. Summerville, SC. Fri Oct 02 2026
