Bush 50 Inch Stand

This rustic-style L-shaped computer desk features a 65-inch-tall 5-tier bookshelf (with adjustable bottom shelves), two wooden drawers and one file drawer, and a spacious 59-inch-wide desktop. This review is going to be only about what I know about this desk because I have not assembled it yet. It arrived in 2 separate boxes; box A and box B. One of the boxes is over 90lbs! I had a chance to open each box to take a look inside. I ordered the Brown and Black color. I really like the fact it is an L-shaped desk; we are going to use it in a spare bedroom for our small business. I need all of the features this desk offers: 5-tier bookshelf, 2 drawers, 1 file drawer, 59" long desktop with a depth of 21", 2 power outlets and 2 USB outlets. All of these features are perfect for running a small business and will make getting my work done more efficiently. The user manual is 50 pages long - I'm already estimating it will take at least 4 hours to assemble! And according to the manual, 2 people are needed in order to flip certain parts. Desktop size 49"L*18.9"W, this fish stand fits from 55 gallon tanks up to 90 gallon aquariums. Also, the bottom of the fish tank stand holds a 20-gallon aquarium or fish tank kit. The color (Storm Grey) matches my office furniture really well. It was pretty hard to find, but when I found it, I was really excited. My husband put it together in a couple of hours, however, the rails for one of the drawers were replaced with a different part, and although the replacement was noted on the instructions, the drawer did not install well. Very sturdy!! And well made. Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). Overall, I like this desk. I wanted a white desk with a back panel to help conceal the abundance of cords and equipment I have (my desk is for both work and gaming so I have 2 computers that hide under the desk. Overall, this feels like a quality desk. I love the shape and it was relatively simple to put together (did it by myself, would’ve been even easier with a second person). My only complaint is about weight distribution. I have two monitors, and they’re curved so they’re a little heavier (16lbs each). Because the back panel doesn’t sit at the back edge of the desk, and is instead recessed a little bit, you need to be mindful of how much weight you’re putting on the back of the desk. I have a dual arm monitor mount that holds both monitors and clamps to the back of the desk, but I couldn’t use it- after fastening it to the back of the desk, I noticed the front parts of the side walls of the desk raising up off the ground. I went back to 2 regular monitor stands, but even then, I had to use some shimssmall furniture pads to keep the desk level. Note that the desk feels very study, and it’s not that it’s wobbling- but if you put a significant amount of weight (2 heavy-ish monitors) on the back edge of the desk, it will lift the front part of the desk off the ground a bit. If you have just a laptop or a single monitorkeyboardmouse on the desk, this won’t be an issue at all. Just be mindful of how much weight your stuff weighs!. Regan. Fri May 01 2026
