The NeXtime "Retro" wall clock is a trendy version of an old time best-seller. The combination of transparent glass and the golden stainless steel circle with a black centerpiece of the clock ensures a classic 60's design. The black center matches the simple black lines that designate each hour mark on the dial, with the special designation of two lines (II) for the top of the hour (12) The golden hands have a polished finish and the hour hand has a fish-eye shape which gives the clock a luxurious feeling. This clock had Bulova’s harmonic II Plus 20 separate melody chime movement, which includes the Traditional Westminster chime and separate hour count as well as a selection of Holiday tunes on demand. It did not work for me, however - the green background on the clock face is too dark and it results in poor contrast between the background and the handles.
