It’s a beautiful light. It’s just about half the size I expected it to be. For 100 dollars I expected it to be larger. They do put the size dimensions, which is my fault, but I do think the photos they have advertising it looks about 8-10 inches wide in those photos. I submitted for a refund and it went to another screen asking if I would take a 20 percent refund or I’d like to proceed with the return and have to pay shipping so I just took the discount. For 80 dollars it’s a better deal and I won’t have the hassle of returning. The Eclipse 2 is an indirect LED sconce made of extruded aluminum. Its contemporary organic design allows for a modern look with a warm classic glow illuminating the wall from either side of its elliptical body. Eclipse includes an onboard driver. It can be easily surface mounted vertically or horizontally and can cover a standard j-box. It is offered in brushed chrome exterior housing with white inner reflector, white exterior housing with white inner reflector, or black exterior housing with gold inner reflector.

We purchased the white version of this light, and it is solid. It is metal, not plastic and made very sturdy. The instructions are straight forward and the install was easy. It took us about 25 minutes including removing the previous light. The finish is smooth and sleek with the white one being soft and more of a flat to velvety finish. Looks incredible in my home. It's no simple thing to find a modern piece thats classic enough to use in an old Victorian home, but this one really fit the bill, I'm really pleased with the look. That said, wiring aside, this thing took me longer than I care to admit to just affix the alabaster plate to the metal arm of the fixture. There's just so little available to thread into the bolt while trying to keep everything aligned. For as simple as the direction was, it was embarrassingly difficult to finesse in.
