My new kitchen needed a good vent, didn't take long to install. Charlene. Mt Shasta, CA. Wed Jul 15 2026

From the leader in residential indoor air quality, this under-cabinet range hood by Broan-NuTone is built to surpass industry standards with over 50 points of inspection, engineered as a reliable ventilation solution. The durable hood vent is up to 20% more effective at removing pollutants than the leading competitor with power ventilation at 350 Max Blower CFM to capture and remove smoke and odors from the kitchen. The Glacier range hood is also up to 44% quieter: 1.5 sones is equivalent to a refrigerator running, so it won't interfere with daily life. The EZ1 Install System allows for a quick and easy 1-person installation, and the ENERGY STAR Certification is both code compliant and provides cost savings. The 1-Level LED lighting and a 2-Speed hidden rocker controls make cooking a breeze. At Broan-NuTone we believe that better quality of air means better quality of life.

Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality. Love the look of the aluminum filters - provides update cook's kitchen look & feel.. Luv To Cook. Se Michigan. Sun Aug 10 2025

It arrived safely and without any issues. It is a medium-sized extraction fan; it does not include any lighting. I hooked it up, and—compared to others—it is quite quiet. You can hear it, of course, but the sound is not loud. It is quite powerful, and the metal base looks sturdy; however, it does not include the hose for venting moisture outdoors.. Jess. FL. Introducing our innovative Flush Ceiling Range Hood, the Victory Sunset. Meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate into your open-concept kitchens while delivering unparalleled performance and aesthetic elegance. Made in Canada with precision engineering, this range hood redefines the standards of modern kitchen ventilation. With its sleek, minimalist design and matte white finish, the Victory Sunset effortlessly blends into any contemporary kitchen space by installing between ceiling joists so no reframing is necessary. Its powerful 600 CFM blower provides unobtrusive yet powerful ventilation and the bright warm LEDs provide great lighting over your cooktop.

I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop.. It arrived quite quickly, protected by plastic wrap and white foam. Installation was a bit tricky—we had a very basic, older-style hood before—but this new one has incredible suction power. We are currently in the process of adding the ductwork to vent it outside. This hood is an excellent choice; it makes the kitchen look beautiful—I can't believe what a difference this change has made. I’m very happy with my new hood. It even came with towels and heat-resistant gloves, which was a nice surprise, even though I had seen them mentioned in the listing. It includes a paper template to show where to place the screws. The Broan line of make-up air dampers removes the unnecessary energy cost penalty from the equation. Broan Make-Up Air Dampers operate only when it is necessary to let compensation air into the home. This is accomplished by the SmartSense fans and/or selected BEST or Broan range hoods communicating with the Broan Make-Up Air Damper when it is time to open and let compensation air into the home.

Purchased this during a kitchen remodel when we determined that we needed a make-up air duct. We had purchased a Thermador Hood for our kitchen when we realized it likely was going to pull out to negative pressure in the home. This has worked great with the pressure switch that automatically opens the damper when the pressure builds in duct. Only had a problem with the pressure sensor on install, found out quickly from tech support that it can only be mounted upright, we had not. When I corrected that, it functioned as it was supposed to.. Jhakes. Green Bay Wi. Thu Oct 04 2018

Nice unit. Relatively easy to install with 2 people. 1st unit damaged and refunded. 2nd unit better but still some hidden cosmetic damage to the hood.
