The couch is exquisite. Firm but very comfortable. The color is a royal blue. I love it. What i didn't like, hence the 4 stars, is the confusion regarding delivery and assembly. Fed Ex dropped the couch off in my front yard in hot sun with rain coming. I couldn't move it. Couch isn’t as big as described. They say it’s 67”, it’s actually about 64”. Talked to customer service and they gave me a little kickback because I didn’t want to return it. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I LOVE this couch! It is absolutely beautiful! If you love sparkle and glam, this is perfect for you. There is not a lot of cushion on the seat, just what is built in (no separate cushions), but it is still comfortable. We were worried the gems on the seat would be uncomfortable to sit on, but you could not feel them at all. The white pillows are soft. Jury is still out on if I want to keep the white fuzzy pillows or replace with something else to tie in with my room though. Very simple to assemble - screw in the legs, and slide the back, seat, and arms together. It feels sturdy so I think it will hold up well. The sofa is gorgeous, however, it’s more of an ivory color. Also, I paid extra for white glove delivery / setup. When the rather large and heavy boxes arrived, they were dropped off outside my front door without notice (no knock on the door or ringing of the doorbell). Also, after assembly, the boxes weren’t disposed of; I was advised that I was responsible for hauling the boxes away. I’m handicapped and this was very difficult. The assembly instructions are vague and misleading. You’ll need three strong, able bodied people to get the arms of the sofa attached to the back and in an entirely different manner than what is illustrated in the instructions. The bolt was not attached to the center leg support creating yet another ‘easy’ assembly obstacle … sigh.
