This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This is a classic cottage style round arm sofa with a very soothing color palette of blue, green, and ivory. The body fabric is woven with a linen like texture in a medium blue with a slight touch of green mixed in. The square accent pillows are a beautiful floral and leaf outline pattern in green and ink blue on an ivory background. The kidney pillow is a broken stripe in the same colors. The seat cushions are loose non-reversible, and the back cushions are attached. The fabrics on this sofa are performance that is both durable and easy to clean. I LOVE this couch! It is absolutely beautiful! If you love sparkle and glam, this is perfect for you. There is not a lot of cushion on the seat, just what is built in (no separate cushions), but it is still comfortable. We were worried the gems on the seat would be uncomfortable to sit on, but you could not feel them at all. The white pillows are soft. Jury is still out on if I want to keep the white fuzzy pillows or replace with something else to tie in with my room though. Very simple to assemble - screw in the legs, and slide the back, seat, and arms together. It feels sturdy so I think it will hold up well.
