It came in with a small dent in the bottom side of can and my husband tapped it out with a cloth and rubber mallet because we thought it was small enough and Wayfair had definitely taken the precautions for that not to happen with the way it was packaged so it may have happened again if we shipped it back. It contains all sorts of protection to put on the various bike parts and does an excellent job of protecting the bike. In order to fit into the rather narrow "box" one must break down the bike. Handlebar and wheels need to come off. This could be difficult unless you are well versed in bike mechanics. Once packed, it is quite narrow and tips over easily.
