I was able to put together this wall sconce farily easily. I did need to add a plug and cord to is as I wanted it to be a plug in by following a failry simple DIY tutorial online. Exactly what I needed for the reading corner. Comes with the ability to hardwire instead of plug in, but in our case we preferred the plug in to avoid calling an electrician. Love the dimmable light and the swing arm, can flatten it against the wall if needed. My only complaint, which is not a feature of the sconce but rather my own problem, is that I put it in a spot where the cord is fully visible, I need to figure out a way to hide that better.
