Black Silk Shade Table Lamp

This lampshade was quite nice, but it did arrive with a couple of "dings" in it. They were small ones. Not visible until I cut off all of the wrapping. Since they were not in the front, I decided not to worry about them and to keep the shade. These hard shell drum shades are difficult to transport and not get a "ding." I am not sure I would have gotten one home from a local store in perfect condition, either. The color I chose was Beige. Without the light on, the shade looks more of an ivory color. So if you need an actual beige, keep looking. It does look more beige with the light on, for some reason. The Shantung fabric is quite nice and smooth looking. It is a modern, attractive lamp shade.. These lamps exceeded our expectations! They arrived well packaged, and even though I had already cut the box open before taking pictures, everything inside was protected and arrived in perfect condition. The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. The quality of lamp is quite good... and considering its price good value. My one complaint was the packaging. The product was wrapped in ways that were not well designed making unpacking much more difficult. Whoever puts the product in the box should be better trained.
