Amazing product. Very good quality and really worked for me and the purpose I wanted it. The only thing is that I decided to not add the sides pieces since I didn’t need it and wanted this to be in the middle of the kitchen. I really like the size of this island—it fits perfectly in my kitchen and is exactly what I needed to add workspace and storage. It was inexpensive, so I was not expecting high-end materials, but the countertop has a very shiny, plastic-like coating and looks more synthetic than the “natural” finish shown online. The biggest disappointment is the drawers. The description of the drawers as “deep” is misleading, since they are only 13 inches deep and leave about 9 inches of unused space behind them. The drawer slides also catch and do not open smoothly, despite the advertised “smooth-glide” hardware. Properly fitting, smoothly operating drawers would have made this a five-star product. We ordered the rolling island in white with stainless top. It was a bear to assemble, but we got it done. I chose this one because the wheels are hidden. It’s a lovely cabinet from the front and adds storage in the kitchen. It moves easily, sometimes too easily. The things I’m not crazy about are the back of the cabinet has panels that are secured with plastic tabs and screws. If you’re using this as an island, just know that they will show. The top is thin metal that scratches easily and shows EVERY handfingerprint. The top MUST have a towel etc under a cutting board to protect it. Purchased the white cart which is well designed and functional with different levels for various items. Instructions are clear for assembly. It is sturdy and rolls well over the kitchen floor. I am very satisfied with the cart which provides the daily portability of items from table to sink to stove and refrigerator. I would give 5 stars but think it's worth noting White Plastic Flush Type Hole Plugs to hide the screw holes which would result in a finished and clean look to the cart should be included (it is also not shown in the list of contents). This is a nice piece and looks like the picture. However, be warned, this is a very complicated DIY assembly. I have lots of experience in that area and generally enjoy assembly and this took me 4-5 hours to assemble. This island is exactly what I was looking for. It did take quite a while to put together as I was building it by myself. The box also arrived heavily damaged (someone had either stepped on it or kicked it). As a result, one of the doors was cracked.
