The modern sofa arrived within a week in two large boxes. The sofa pieces were well packed and the color is beautiful. The back cushions are comfy and full. The downsides, the bottom cushions you sit on are very thin and you can feel the sofa frame underneath especially where each section meets. The way the frame is assembled is also very complicated with a ton of screws and cheap plywood base so it’s not fully even. The material is soft but snags easily. I like the sofa. It came in one box and was easy to assemble with no tools. The couch is on the smaller side compared to a couch you would use in a living room but would be nice for a den or lounge area. It’s a nice color and comes with sturdy legs. Ok, hang on, because I wasnt expecting this to be this quality for the price. This couch is deep! The cushions are very comfortable, even better after about a week when everything is poofed up. This is absolutely perfect if you have dogs, everything just wipes right off of it. I have 2 larger dogs that rassle and bounce off the cushions and the back of it when they are zooming and chasing each other, there arent any scratches or anything on it yet, although Im sure with these dogs there will be eventually. Its actually really good for sleeping! My brother in law has been crashing on our couch for a few weeks, and when we added this one to our game room, he relocated himself to it. It was fairly easy to put together, therer was one point where I needed a hand lining up two opposite sided at the same time (to slide the back support down into its holder. It took me about an hour to asssemble but I was also watching an Astros game while I was doing it. As another review stated there are some plastic parts, but I found no issue with any of them. You cannot tell the legs are plastic unless you are screwing them on. This couch definitely needs to back up to a wall or maybe a sofa table because the back of it velcros down the middle, and that whole back upholstery part just kind of hangs straight down, think..... like a bed skirt. Thats a good comparison. When I was assembling I was afraid it was going to be low, but it is normal couch height. I very often find myself kicked back on it laying down with my head on the armrest, it doesnt need a bunch if pillows to be comfortable. The color is exactly like it looked on the listing. Im very happy with this couch. Would be great for a starter home, game room, apt., condo, etc... if youre into the PBarn or RH feel of a room, this isnt the couch for you. It would not flow seamlessly with high quality designer furniture or real leather, but us normal folks, its a great buy. I am truly amazed at this couch that came in 1 box and once it was opened, literally expanded into a full-size couch. I was laughing because I thought if I didn't like it, how on earth would I send it back! That was not the case. Overall satisfied with our purchase. Looks like the pictures, the green was a little less olive and a little more spring/light green than I expected. On the firmer side, but comfortable for sitting and naps. Not a thick, super soft, sink-into-it type of couch, but we didn’t expect that at this price point. Shipped all in one package within a few days, assembly requires 2 people unless you are willing to do some serious maneuvering with long couch parts, but pretty quick and simple with 2 people.
