Four drawers, real filing room — this 35.4" metal lateral file cabinet holds a full home office's paperwork in the slim footprint of a printer stand. Drop a printer on top; you've still got room for books or a plant. Four full-extension drawers glide on ball-bearing slides, each holding 110 lbs (440 lbs total) of letter, legal, or F4 files. A built-in interlock lets only one drawer open at a time, so the cabinet can't tip forward. Pre-drilled wall-mount hardware is included for extra anchoring. One lock secures all four drawers (two keys included). Matte black powder-coated steel resists fingerprints and scuffs. Tools, hardware, and a step-by-step guide are in the box — most setups take about 30 minutes.

They are nice except 2 pieces of the cabinet were damaged. The instructions were not very friendly and it took a while for us to figure out how to put it together.. Giusy. El Paso Tx. Fri Sep 25 2026

What it’s supposed to be. Everything works as it should. Easy enough to put together.. Jennifer. Fri Sep 18 2026

Paperwork builds up fastest wherever several people share a space, so this steel cabinet keeps a home office, studio, or reception desk organized without taking over the room. Recessed handles sit flush with the drawer fronts, so the unit slides into a tight aisle or under a counter without snagging sleeves or chair arms, while a powder-coated finish over welded steel wipes clean of fingerprints. Because it ships flat, one person can carry it up a stairwell and assemble it from the fittings packed in the carton. Anchoring hardware ties the loaded cabinet to a wall stud, keeping it steady on uneven floors and around children, and records stay upright and visible instead of piling up across a desk.

I’m really happy with this file cabinet! It was surprisingly easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow from start to finish. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, especially for the price. The drawers open and close smoothly and provide plenty of space for keeping paperwork organized. I also really like that it has a locking option, which is great for storing important or personal documents. Overall, it looks nice, feels like good quality, and is a great addition to a home office. Definitely recommend!. Alicia A.. Texas. Mon Sep 07 2026

Built-in casters provide easy mobility, while the open side shelf with an adjustable divider offers versatile storage for books and supplies. Perfect for organizing your home office stylishly.

Take your time while putting this together. Between the 2 of us we got it done. Noticed several chips on corners. Not sure if damaged in transit or while boxing. Will have to touch up the areas. The only thing I'm not happy with is you cannot put files on both sides in large drawer. Does not fit. Will have to use one side for storage and not files.. Helene. Sun City Center, FL. Sun Apr 12 2026

This vertical file cabinet brings organized storage to your home office setup. Crafted with a steel frame, it features two spacious file drawers alongside a top drawer designed for smaller desk accessories. The file drawers accommodate letter-size documents, keeping important paperwork neatly sorted and accessible. Smooth-glide drawer slides provide easy access to contents, while built-in handles create a clean silhouette. A single lock secures the upper file drawer to help keep sensitive files protected. Plus, its compact footprint allows it to slip easily beside or under a desk.

The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Can you send us a new one? I examined the box prior to opening and saw no sign of the dent or I would have refused shipment. Please advise.. Alison. Nantucket, MA. Fri Apr 17 2026

This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The lock is weak but this is for my home so I don't need the lock. It perfectly matches my desk. Otherwise it's very good fit for my home office.. Judy. Boston. Sun May 10 2026

This two drawer filing cabinet combines a natural vacuum formed wood grain with sleek metal handles and tapered legs to create a luxurious style that complements any interior. The filing cabinet comes with a spacious desktop and plenty of storage space, making it ideal for multi-scenario use in a home office or living room.

It took us 4 and half hours (both seniors) to put it together following the illustrations. It’s worth it as it looks good and matches the contemporary office table I got from Wayfair too. The only thing not good but doable are the 2 sliding sides are very hard to push open. I slide bath soap on the groove and it helped a little but not good enough. Otherwise i would have given it a 5 stars.. Lilian. Indio, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026
