This is a nice lamp. It appears high quality. Its very big. The base is about 10 inches wide at its thickest. The candle in the photo is 8 ounces and the tumbler is 16 ounces. The measurements are correct. I probably would have been happy with something a little bit smaller but Ill get used to it. I have been looking for a black and gold lamp for a long time and finally found this one! It is very nice looking and appears to be good quality. When I received it I felt the shade sat a little too high on the lamp for my taste. It came with a 9 inch harp. I changed it to 7 inch which lowered the shade by 2 inches.
