They do come with adjusters on the bottom of the legs. Putting them together was simple, but have to admit having a 2nd person help hold in place, while adding screws made the job go faster. The instructions are easy to follow, and all tools and parts are included. The chair has a deeper and lower seat, which makes it especially comfortable to curl up in. The weather isn't great here right now so I set it up inside temporarily, and it actually looks nice enough to use indoors. The wood and fabric seem pretty durable, although I'd still be cautious with the light fabric.
