Love these. They are small and made of plastic. They come with hanging hardware, however we chose to use a two sided tape to put them up. We need to make sure that the location we placed them in will get enough sun to charge. We also feel that we can spread them a little further apart and still get the same effect. These lights were pretty easy to install and work very well. Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. At dusk, they literally pop up and light up, giving you lights along a pathway, driveway, deck, or dock that aren't in your way during the day. Prior to first use, charge the light for two sunny days. If battery capacity reduces over time, switch the light off for 3-5 sunny days in order to boost the batteries. Weather will affect the lights' working time.
