Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price. Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. Looks just like the picture online once assembled, ended up being the perfect size and height for my son’s bedroom and for him to enjoy for years to come, feels sturdy, good quality material. Assembly company was pretty good the first person wasn’t quite able to complete the assembly, I called and someone came two days later and finished it up, was fine since we are still in the process of moving our things. This bunkbed is really nice looking and solid and a great bargain. The bed gets 5 stars. HOWEVER, assembly was an atrocious process and would earn negative stars. None of the parts were labeled. Each piece had multiple patterns of holes on several sides and trying to line them up facing the proper way was a process. The instructions are almost nonexistent- just very small pictures with confusing arrows everywhere. Once everything was lined up appropriately it really wasn’t hard to put together but labels and written instructions would make a huge difference. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bunk bed, especially for the price. It was fairly easy to put together, just time consuming because there are so many parts. It took two of us 2 hours. The parts were clearly labeled and the instructions were mostly clear. There are a couple minor issues one leg must have been drilled crooked because the leg is not lined up exactly right and there are 2 screws, so we can’t correct it. Plus there was a small dent on one of the rails. Another minor inconvenience is that since everything was labeled well, there are a lot of stickers to remove and they don’t come off the easiest. The biggest negative is that the ladder rungs are small and square and hurt your feet when climbing. Hopefully that’s not an issue for kids who are lighter, but it’s definitely an issue for adults..
