This is a really nice quality lamp! Bulbs not included with this lamp and requires 2- 40 W maximum bulbs make sure you get the chandelier type with the small base because when you first look at the insert it looks like a big base, this lamp is ceramic and it’s very heavy that is quite beautiful . Beautiful lamp! It was well packaged, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. The light it casts is soft, not bright. My couch is a sofa bed so I didn’t want guests to have to get up to turn off the ceiling light. I don’t know if this lamp would be bright enough to read by, but it’s very pretty.
