This is a beautiful chair, however I expected it to be STAINED brown, not painted…it IS heavily painted with a gloss paint that makes it look like plastic. So I am disappointed. Fabulous and easy to install. However, package should have come with instructions on how the blinds work. I couldn’t figure out how they go up and down and thought that perhaps a string needed to be cut. Fortunately, I didn’t snip anything and just pulled down on them realizing that they go up and down with a simple pull and push of the hand. I saw another person in review s had snipped the cable, rendering them useless. The color brings a lot of warmth to my gray kitchen. I’ve gone ahead and ordered two more for bedrooms.. Christine.
