4 months post partum and my baby has slept in this bassinet every night. Love how it can be converted into a basket and table once she grows out of it. Dayna. Thunder Bay, ON. Wed Sep 09 2026

Bilia means newborn in Gurenɛ, a dialect attributed to the originators of this craft. Made from elephant grass and dyes, this Moses basket bassinet is beautifully handcrafted for your newborn. They call their bassinets "Nature's Bassinets", as they are completely handmade with dried natural elephant grass. Elephant grass is similar to hardened hay. Each basket takes several days to weave from start to finish. This is a very difficult, completely handwoven craft, as a result, patterns and natural dyeing may vary slightly. Leather handle colors may range slightly within their color groups. The basket is made of all-natural grass, without additives. The basket can become misshapen in transit but can be easily fixed by reshaping.

This was the the sweetest Moses Basket my daughter chose for her newborn baby. This doesn’t come without the stand you see illustrated in some of the photos but the mattress and one sheet is included. Of course you will need your own precious little baby .This is a nice quality and well made product. Pamela. Macclesfield, NC. Tue Feb 27 2024

Ultra-soft luxurious materials and cushioned edges provide a reassuring "cocoon-like" holding effect that helps reduce startle reflex and lets the baby play and rest comfortably.
