I’m honestly really impressed with this set so far. The packaging came in 4 heavy boxes, so be prepared — this is definitely not one of those super light, flimsy furniture sets. You’ll probably want help moving and assembling it. Assembly took longer than I expected, but once everything started coming together, you could really tell the quality was there. The fabric texture feels soft and rich, the frame feels durable, and the overall look is very elevated and modern. Right now I only have the smaller chair from the set fully assembled in my space, and I already love it. It blends perfectly with my setup and gives that cozy but sophisticated look I was going for. Did not expect the back part of the sofa to be a piece of metal and light fabric covering it, but for the price I can’t complain. Works for its purpose for now but don’t expect it to be durable in the long run. I love the color and am happy with the purchase! (the plastic on the sofa is to protect from my cats scratching). This Cognac faux leather sofa from Wayfair is absolutely gorgeous, but assembling it was a whole thing. Even with two of us working on it, connecting some of the pieces felt impossible. And don’t even get me started on the pillows—after they expanded out of the shrink-wrap, squeezing them into those covers was like a full contact sport. I genuinely thought we were going to tear them. That said, now that it’s all together, it’s super sturdy and the color is just chef’s kiss.
