I decided to send these back when I realized they are not really stay-cool handles. The fine print on the manufacturer's website essentially tells you to always use a pot holder. For this kind of money, and given the high quality of the non-stick finish, they should have put silicone on the handles for handling them. Great quality. We purchased these as the propane flames (natural gas not available in this part of the state!) made a sooty mess on the bottom of our old pots & pans.
