This chair exceeded my expectations. I purchased it to replace a similar leather chair which was showing serious wear after 15 years of service. It arrived in perfect condition and the leather color matched the online photos. The stitching and craftsmanship appear to be first rate. The seat is much firmer than the predecessor it replaced; but I expect it will improve with time. I had been shopping around for a genuine leather chair, but couldn't find one in a reasonable price range that I liked. This one checked all the boxes and was also a great value. I bought the open box Bennett leather barrel chair, great price. I got it & decided I needed the matching ottoman that match it,but to my surprise they didn't make it in brown that I bought, so I bought the closest they made, Carmel to make my set, it was a good price too. I can live with it but wished they match. Bob. Bob. Crazy Portland, Or.. Wed Oct 14 2026

This chair rocks! Maybe just a little. The curved frame will give you that impression and perhaps the opportunity. Top-grain quilted leather, warm wood tones, and metal are a good combination. Pure Aniline top-grade cow leather. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight/heat. Some color variations are common and acceptable on vintage leather.

I love the chair However it got wet while in transit I would like to return and replace the chair with the same chair. Sheila. Charleston, SC. Wed Apr 03 2024

I purchased this to match one that I currently have that I bought locally 2 years ago, but could no longer find locally b/c it was discontinued. There were 3 color options in the store I purchased from. Just know that this will not match the color in photo. It is beautiful, but it is a solid, flat, dark brown and is not pictured. No marbling of color as the picture indicates and sadly the one I already had was closer to the one in the pic. If you’re not trying to match another chair, it’s absolutely beautiful and well-made, just know that the color is not as shown. (In pic with 2 chairs, it's the one on the right). Anonymous. Designed with a minimalist but warm feel, this armchair offers clean lines and cozy comfort. It's made from a solid rubber wood frame and has classic square arms and a tight back. Genuine full-grain leather upholstery finishes off the look with a sleek, sophisticated touch that complements all sorts of different decor styles. Plus, with an array of hues, it's even easier to find a complementary color palette.

The chairs are large and comfortable. The leather is soft but not the softest of leathers. As far as quality, this is a mid-quality leather product. The chairs I received don’t look exactly as they are shown on the site, specifically the back rest (see picture). Expect a a wrinkled softer look. Also, the back rest is attached to the chair which prevents me from readjusting the inside or adding more filling. I would not pay full price for this chair but I am satisfied for what I got them for. Wayfair stands behind their products and customer service is top notch. The delivery crew was also outstanding.. Lola. Long Island. Wed Oct 07 2026
