This statue is 100 percent authentic hand-cast bronze in lost wax molds. Bronze is suitable for Indoor or Outdoor use and will virtually last forever. The finishing is a beautiful combination of multi tones of walnut patinas used to draw attention to details; further work is done with silvering of the mane and tail feathers and polishing to shining detail the beaks and talons. The Eagle has been the United States' national emblem since 1782 and a spiritual symbol for native people for far longer than that. It can also be combined with other North American Animals to create a bigger collection. Hand Crafted by the Talented Bronze Artists in Thailand.

This statue should be raised up off the ground in winter so it will not freeze to the ground surface. Items that have areas that pool water should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate and freeze.

The outstretched arms sculpture is made of aluminum on a striated surface that brings one aspect of its design distinction: when the finish is rubbed onto its surface, it collects in the valleys to bring added patina to the gray sculpture. This lends it a textural feel that convinces the eye this is a vintage decorative accessory. In the foyer of a modern home filled with contemporary art, this decorative accessory will hold its own. We offer a number of sculptures in this family of decorative accessories. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.
