Although putting the table together is straight forward, the machining on the bolts is beyond poor; meaning that putting them in is very tricky, they simply do not thread smoothly. I tried WD-40 which helped somewhat and then a little lithium grease. My advice is to screw each bolt fully into the leg before trying to fasten to the table. Once you get the screw in fully, you can remove it and then try to fasten the leg. I managed to get it put together, but it will take time, patience and some lubricants . That said, the shape of the legs elevates the look quite a bit and the finish quality is above what you would expect at the price point. It was well boxed and I had no damage. Also, there was absolutely no chemical smell that often radiates off these kinds of products. It appears actually to be real wood. Now that it is assembled, I am happy with it.. Gregory. I’m giving this table 4 starts because the craftsman ship was poor. There’s routered out grooves that the side legs fit into and one end was largerloose and then too thin to fit inside on the other end. Fortunately a small metal bar pulled it in at the base, but unfortunately, the bolt receiving pieceinsert came up with every turn. Also one of the wood pieces was slightly damages, but this piece did not impact installation or function. I do love the solid wood top and the smaller base. It’s slightly taller than I anticipated, 31.25”, but it does have adjustable leveling feet.. Michele. Boise. Sun Sep 20 2026
