This cabinet was extremely well packaged. The quality of the pieces was evident as we unboxed them. All parts were labeled, with orientation arrows clearly added to help with assembly. The assembly instructions were excellent and easy to follow, although the inset photos could have been a little larger. A magnifying glass is helpful. One screw was preinstalled, but on the parts list it doesn't note that, so I thought it was missing, but a quick call to customer service cleared that right up. Also the keys are taped with white tape inside the recessed door handle, so they were also not easy to spot. It would have been helpful if these had been noted. But the quality is excellent, and I have confidence that the middle and lower shelves will hold the heavy items I placed on them without any bowing. The other two shelves are easy to adjust and are very sturdy as well. I wish I had space for just a little wider, but I was working in a limited spot. Nonetheless, this held several of my previously always-on-the-counter appliances and my heavy cast iron cookware, and was a great addition to our kitchen! It is a really nice looking cabinet on all four sides!! I thought it was a bit pricey, but after receiving and assembling, I am satisfied that we got what we paid for! This is a real review. Took some time to build and had to fight with some screws to assemble the frame. Ended up making everything work without any DIY work but beware, QC is not top tier. The cabinet itself is nice. Doesn’t look cheap, it is sturdy. You can mount the drawer on the mid or down level. It has the « steel ball connectors » style unlike some other replica models. I had a collective "wow we've really given up" moment: The box arrived damaged. Many of the pieces were dented or bent. I used a wrench to straighten parts in order to put it together. The instructions were vague. .. I saw other sellers selling this same item (also on Wayfair) and thought another company might have improved, sturdier packaging (it had better reviews). I was wrong. .. I joined in with the collective lowering of expectations for manufacturing quality and quality control. .. I would not buy this again if I had to do it over.. Anonymous. File cabinet is a nice piece of furniture but it was a beast to assemble. It took me six hours to assemble it; two of the six hours could have been avoided if I have secured the cabinet to the wall. After assembling the cabinet and placing the folders it was really wobbly, so I decided to secure the cabinet to the wall.
