Nice bookshelf. Love the color palette and how detailed the instructions are. Took a while to put together but I did it without special tools. The finished piece is sturdy and good quality for the price. The one reason I took one star off is because I didn’t realize how narrow the shelf is. This shelf arrived packaged well with no damage. The instructions were fairly clear and the shelf is quite light making the building experience simple. The only hang up I had was with the back cover, as there are very many small screws and on my product the pre-drilled holes did not perfectly align with the cover's screw holes. It came with a mount to secure it to the wall with is great since the shelf is super light and easy to tip without it. The mount was easy to put in as well! Overall 4 stars.. Katherine. I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive. Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours. One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws. Overall, these bookcases exceeded my expectations.
