I’m very happy with these speaker stands. They were straightforward to assemble, feel well made, and look much more expensive than they are. The black finish with the wood accent complements my vintage-inspired audio setup perfectly. The only thing I wish the instructions had made more obvious is that you’ll need dry sand if you want to fill the hollow columns for added stability before attaching the top plate. GORGEOUS.. however, if you do not own a drill and have a tap die this might be a bit frustrating. This did not come with instructions but was easy to put together for someone who is very handy. I had to drill out the music holder a bit (not much just had some burrs so I could not easily slide it in) and one stand adjuster was a bit difficult to turn. Running a tap throught it fixed it so now it looks like a $150.00 music stand and works GREAT.
