Nice desk, my only complaint is the cords. youll have 2 cords they run from the top of the desk. So they are very noticeable. if you plan on having this desk pushed up against the wall, that would look better. Functionally and visually, I would give this 5 stars, but quality and assembly take it down to 4 stars, especially for the price. The assembly was incredibly tedious, about 2.5-3 hours for two people to do it together with a combination of a drill and screwdriver. The instructions were easy to follow until we got to the standing desk motor installation, which got a lot more confusing, but we eventually figured it out. The white melamine chips relatively easily, and there were some scratches already coming out of the packaging. There are a lot of cam lock screws visible after assembly, and stickers were not included to cover them up, so I bought some on my own, and the stickers labeling the different parts to assemble do not come off easily. The legs of the standing portion are not screwed or secured into the wood of the desk (they just slot through holes), so when the desk is freshly assembled, it wobbles a bit, but less so once computer, monitors, and other items are on the desk. Because of this, it is also incredibly difficult to move once assembled (the legs kind of drag and fall out). The wood of the desk is also a fair bit more cool-toned than it appears in the pictures (and even in my photos, it looks more yellow than it does in real life). This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. I really do love this desk for the most part, but there are a few things that lost it a star. First, the storage is pretty low quality for the price. The drawers are just cardboard on the bottom and they don’t soft close or anything. The shelving on the other side is kind of dumb also - they’re not big enough to fit anything but small planners or something like that. Partly my fault for not looking at those dimensions, but I just assumed I could keep books there. And finally, putting this desk together is pretty difficult alone. I’ve put together a lot of furniture on my own, and I know what I’m doing, but this took like 6 hours. And I think one of those hours was just lining up the desk too with all the tiny holes to screw it on lol would be much easier with help. Now for positives - the desk looks really good and works really well! The desktop is sturdy and high quality, and the presets are very easy to set and use. There’s plenty of room underneath for your chair or a walking pad.
