These lampshades were packed so well that there were no dents or dirt at all. They are a good value, in my opinion. The only thing that I would change is that each shade has a seam in the binding around the bottom edge that is on the front, opposite the vertical shade seam. I really like these shades. When I received the product I was surprised by the disk that goes across the top of the lamp that hides the bulb from view.
