The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern. We have only just received these, so this review does not include a long term use. They are nice right out of the box. Easy to assemble. The wood color was very similar to online and they match our table pretty well. The green has the wear lines as shown in the orginal photos, but it looks better in person than in photos.
