Bridging several design styles popularized in the late twentieth century, contemporary design focuses on lines, shapes, and forms. Edges are soft and rounded, surfaces are simple, sleek, and unadorned. Contemporary design changes with time, but always has a current feel that emphasizes lines—vertical, horizontal, curved or straight. Less is more, spotlighting color, geometric shapes, and architectural features. Versatile and striking, Satin Black features a deep, solid-matte black over sanded brass adding intrigue to any style.

A clean, streamlined design on the Kingston fits a wide range of decorating styles from traditional and ranch to contemporary. This half-dummy, or trim function, is surface mounted on doors where only a pull is required. There is no operation.

Great inexpensive handles, practical, and ADA-compliant. I bought 6 handles for our school’s new location (that was under construction). These 6 handles from Wayfair (3 with locks, 3 without locks) were cheaper than the price of 3 of similar style handles that I bought from Ace Hardware. Our initial inspection failed, because our contractor had installed other handles with twist-button locks, so I replaced them with these handles with push-button locks - for half the price! FYI - if you’re installing in a commercialbusiness setting, locks must be push-button (not twist-button locks).. Jen. West Melbourne, FL. Fri Feb 05 2021
