This mini bread maker has so far lived up to the great reviews upon which I had made my decision to purchase it. I have been a home baker for years, everything from cookies, danishes, pies, cakes, etc., and many varieties of breads. But several autoimmune illnesses have made it difficult to continue doing what I found so pleasurable, especially making breads, so I invested in this Zojirushi. After reading through the instructions carefully, I made the Basic Bread. I was excited to sample the hot, crunchy-crust loaf --- and it came out easily from the pan. It was AMAZINGLY delicious! That evening I attempted the whole wheat loaf, using traditional whole grain wheat flour. Not so good this time! Loaf was pretty hard, and was quite a grotesque shape. So I then tried the whole wheat apple bread, but used King Arthur White Whole Wheat Flour. I did not have dried apple pieces, so I used dried apricots, and substituted homemade brown sugar for the white called for in the recipe. Along with the cinnamon (I added a tad extra), I added a pinch of ginger. The outcome was again DELICIOUS. The loaf needed just a little help with a rubber spatula (I gently moved it around all four sides), and out it came. The mixer blade remained in the tub, and the indentation in the loaf was minimal. The tub is easy cleanup just a moistened towel, wipe dry. Same with blade. I rate it only a 45 because I am still not comfortable with the setting directions. I had to press STOPRESET several times because I could not get the crust setting to go to LIGHT. So I left it alone and got a regular crust. Im going to call Customer Service and ask for assistance, and hopefully Ill get it. If not for that little kink that I need to work on, this is a 55 product. I got it at a terrific price, and I am very happy that I purchased it.

As for delivery from Wayfair, I had placed my order just as the Christmas holiday season kicked off, but despite that, the package did not take long in arriving. The carrier, however, left it on my steps, so I was not able to signindicate on the carriers log that the box arrived with a hole on one side. The hole was the size of a large orange. I examined the contents, and the box that the machine was in had not been affected by whatever had caused the hole. Considering that the package had the hole, the carrier should have rang the bell to get my attentionsignature The companys policy indicates that the recipient must examine a package when there is damage. I was home all day that day. As for the Ordering Department, I just have to say a few words I was so very impressed by the cheery, professional manner that I was greeted and treated when I called to place the order. I am a VIP Zappos shoppermember, and I told my husband that the young lady rivaled the staff at Zappos! She was so helpful and outgoing, aiming to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my order, and to make sure that I was getting my discount coupon applied to the purchase. Amazing experience!

This is a companion to my big Zo after my very first one pound bread machine gave up. I tried a different brand with terrible results after many attempts. The first loaf out of the mini ZO was perfect as has been every one since. I reserve big ZO for dough projects. With only 2 people in the house, the mini is great!

I enjoy using my Zo Breadmaker every few days so my husband and I can have fresh bread without all the added ingredients store bought breads are made with. You can't beat the taste. It's so easy to use and very quiet running. The small size makes it counter friendly in my kitchen.

I have been baking bread at least three times a week since getting my mini Zojirushi about 6 weeks ago. I love the simplicity of it and the direction booklet is very straight forward. There are a variety of recipes in the booklet and so far, so good. I try very hard to wash and dry the baking pan carefully so as not to mar the finish. If I had one thing to slightly complain about, it would be that after releasing a completed loaf, the paddle is difficult to remove without resorting to soaking in water. Now, I grease the spindle with crisco before slipping the paddle on and that seems to help. I've never owned a bread machine before so I cannot compare it to other models, but its abilities suit our needs. I think this machine is worth every penny (it is awfully expensive) and my husband and I enjoy our fresh-baked bread!

I bought this small bread maker to fit my well-organized but small kitchen. It makes the perfect size loaf for two or three people - so we can have more than one kind of bread to choose from daily. I've made pasta and jam with it as well and am glad it has these features. Since it is light and compact, we tuck the machine away on an upper cupboard shelf to save counter space.
