Tired of hand-blending my ice creams I broke down and ordered the ICE-21. Just out of the box, I was really surprised with how big it was (the base is even bigger than my Braun blender) and all my initial visions of easy storage were done away with. That will teach me to read specs with greater attention. A pro with the size is that the ice cream bowl at 1.5 quarts is quite generous sized. I made two batches of ice cream since I received it - 0.5 quarts and 1 quart and had it last upto a week (for the 1 quart) for two people. I have not tried ice cream recipes from the booklet, but I made two quick recipes I found online, 1 for ice cream and 1 for frozen yogurt and the results of both were fantastic. The ice cream came out slushier than I wanted to eat right away, but freezing for a couple of hours produced a delicious, creamy result. I'm very satisfied with it and thrilled that home-made ice cream is just 15 mins away. For easy re-use I keep the bowl in my freezer when I'm not using it, so that I can whip up a batch when the mood strikes. If I had to mention a con, it would be that the machine is very noisy. I had a video streaming on my laptop when I started the ice cream maker and the subsequent noise drowned my laptop's puny speakers. But, I can live with that for 15 minutes. It also would have been nice if all the moving components were dish washer safe and the bowl came with a lid so that I could store my ice cream in it."..."  Read more

Simple to use and with a neat modern design, this little machines churns out ice creams/sorbets/sherbets/frozen yogurts in "as little as 25 minutes".The machine is small enough to sit easily on the counter top and stay put there with the suction base without sliding off and big enough to make up to 2 quarts of of frozen dessert at a time. It looks sleek with brushed metal finish, is fully automatic and has a heavy duty motor. The parts are extremely easy to assemble together; they just comfortably fit in together without any turns or twists. Set the freezer bowl to the base, place the paddle/arm in the bowl and put the lid on an you are ready to go. The ingredients can be easily poured in through the opening in the lid and is totally mess free.I haven't tried any recipe from the included recipe book, but took a chance and made my own sherbet [@], mango ice cream and fresh strawberry ice cream; yes 3 ice creams in one week!. (The recipe book does have some enticing recipes and I will try most of them in the future.) The result was consistent every single time; I was not disappointed with the outcome all the three times. The ice cream was the perfect texture – light airy smooth and seriously good! I am sure I will make many more with the hotter months ahead of me.Few important things to remember if you want the best results: 1. The freezer bowl needs to be chilled. When not frozen you will hear the liquid inside when you move the bowl around. When it freezes and it is rightly chilled you will not hear the moving liquid. 2. The ingredients need to be chilled before you pour them in the machine. 3. The immediate result is a soft serve ice cream, so if you like firmer scoop plan ahead of time and freeze the soft serve ice cream in an airtight container for at least 4-5 extra hours or overnight. 4. If you are planning to make ice creams as frequently as I did this week, it is a good idea to use the freezer bowl, clean it and put it back in the freezer. It cleans up quick and easy like new, and there not much to clean up anyway other than the bowl, the paddle and the lid. This has to be my favorite gadget right now. Needless to say the entire family is as excited as I am. The kids are having the ice creams their way and they too see the possibilities of making infinite kinds from now on.Disclosure:This is a honest product review. I researched a multitude of yogurt makers and this one stood out because it comes with two different size covers. I started out making yogurt in small jars using the small cover. My family can't get enough! I am now making yogurt in quart jars using the large cover. I have made half and half yogurt, goat yogurt, soy yogurt, organic yogurt, 2% yogurt, whole milk yogurt. If you follow the directions correctly you will have perfect yogurt every time. This yogurt maker has paid for itself many times over. I'll never go back to store bought yogurt again."..."  Read more

I had a yogurt maker years ago and wasn't always pleased because it didn't consistently make great yogurt. Recently I made a batch using the oven method and then another with an ice chest. They both turned out great, but quite a hassle! My new Cuisine Yogurt Maker, a review gift from Wayfair, was so easy to use and made the tastiest, thick and creamy yogurt. The easy to understand directions gave me the choice to use different fat percentages of milk as well as the option to add fruit or flavorings in advance. I love the 6 ounce jars that conveniently go from the machine... to refrigerator... to table."..."  Read more
