The kennel is placed in our kitchen, as a sleeping and playpen for our Springer puppy. When I need to do chores, he goes into the kennel so he's not underfoot and causing havoc. In addition, he resisted crate training. Placing the crate in the kennel (with the crate door in the open position at all times), he adjusted and is now crate trained. The kennel is a godsent. We bought this kennel to keep our two labs out of trouble while we're at work. We got our dogs as puppies and they outgrew their previous indoor kennel, so we needed something a bit bigger. This one works perfectly as an indoor kennel for us. We didn't end up using the sunshade so it's open at the top. We've not had any problems with our dogs jumping out of it. The only negative is that it's here to stay in our bedroom. The only way to move it is to completely disassemble the entire kennel. Otherwise, it's perfect for our needs."..."  Read more

The kennel is being used to give my chickens room to fly and still be safe from predators. It is perfect for daytime use. In the evening I lock them in their coop which has a block floor so predators can't burrow in. The only drawback to the kennel, is the instructions. I watched the video but the kennel did not go together as demonstrated. Also, the clamps were already attached, but they were the cheap ones, and not as pictured, except one set.
