Wood Shed 400 Series 472 CD Wall Mounted Multimedia Storage Rack

We had a low wall and it fits perfect. We did not just wall mount it real low, but also put oak blocks under for extra support. It was so great we wish there was a way to order custom pieces to fit on either side as two of these were just 5 inches too long. Also the dark stain works, but an even darker stain would have worked better. BUT all and all we are thrilled with the results!!!

If you want to be able to retrieve a CD do not buy this item. The shelves are too deep. Do your own measurements before wasting your money. Esthetically having my CD's so far back in the shelf is not an attractive way to display them either

Pros: Furniture Grade Solid Wood. Very Sturdy Construction. Appearance. Value for the money. Cons: Wall Mounting Instructions are poor. Rear Wall of Cabinet is thin. I received a call from the company president on a weekend to thank me for the purchase and to see if I had any concerns or comments, I wasn't home to get the call but in today's world I thought that was a great touch, something you do not see. The rack is exceptional in my opinion, excellent in every way. My one thought is that they need to include some sort of wall mount hardware. I bought 2 flat T shaped brackets and attached them to the top back (the top of the T was lined up with the top board so the stem pointed to the floor) then I screwed them to the wall through the front of the rack with a big washer and used 2 L shaped brackets and attached them to the wall then to the bottom underside of the rack.

This CD rack came packaged very well fully assembled and ready for use. The quality is outstanding and the finish impressive. This is real wood and furniture quality. I am more than 100% satisfied with my CD rack.

So good I now own two of them. The only gripes I have are that there could be a little more space at the tops so that you can get a finger in there to pull a CD out and closely related to that, they don't really need to be so deeply recessed. They can be closer to the front so they can be fetched more easily. So, don't pack them in too tightly or they'll fight you to get out. Other than that, awesome quality. Do the job right, take your time when installing.

Hard to contact manufacturer's site but this vendor was efficient. Not worth getting special insurance, since this product is sturdy and it was well packed.

There was a time when we bought domestic products bc of pride in American ingenuity and craftsmanship. Woodshed's products take you back there. This CD storage rack is solid oak and is ready to use out of the box. It is built to last. Very attractive furniture that can be displayed with pride. No cheap veneer or particle board - this will look just as good 15-20 years from now. No complaints at all! Am so glad I stumbled into Wood Shed's products.

All solid Oak Wood. You don't find this kind of quality very often anymore.
