Very Cheap Wood
Tammy from Pratt, KS– Verified Buyer
I purchased this chair in January. By February the wood in one rocker split. We repaired it ourselves. Now by July an arm has split and the wood between the rockers in front split. When I say split I mean it split in some random way. Not near a joint or screw but the center of the wood. Like the wood couldn't withstand any pressure. I am 5'4" and weigh about 132 lbs. This was the chair I sat in. Probably no more than a couple times a week at most. It's very very cheap wood and I'm extremely disappointed in the quality. I literally threw all my money away as there is no way to repair any of these split pieces. What I can do is tell others about the horrible quality and advise them not to purchase this rocker.
no adult males

Looks great but can't stand up to weight of average adult male for very long. The seat broke on mine after about 3 or 4 months of regular use. Considering price, I should have expected it.
Theyre not just for grannys

Strong, sturdy, easy assembly, style and attractive - everything one would look for in a chair. I thought the color is black but it's actually a dark reddish brownish color, which adds to the richness of the look.

I left a review after I bought this chair. It's now a little over a year later and it is ready to be put out with the trash. The chair is beautiful but has fallen apart. The first time, the seat fell. Got if fixed and reinforced, so reinforced that it felt better than new and I thought it would last forever. It lasted a while and now it's starting to fall again. The cushions are no longer even. An arm has fallen off. Sounds like a zombie, right, pieces just falling off. It's a beautiful piece and I have grown attached to it. I love this chair. It's a shame I have to put it out for trash collection tomorrow. Of course it can be fixed and reinforced again, but not when it's just over a year old. Because I Heart Wayfair, I logged on to look for and buy another chair to replace it and decided to leave this review if the system lets me, since I already left a review after I got it.
Great Looking Chair!

Love the leather back and seat!! Purchased for my daughter and her first baby. She may get a rocker glider with more cushioning as she gets up to nurse in the night. If so, I will bring it home! Many years of rocking grandbabies to come!

This chair was exactly what I expected! A little firm but nice.

Great quality. Not too good for short people. We are around 5'3 and our feet do not touch the ground comfortably to rock.
Arm rest can split
B from Jessup, MD– Verified Buyer
This is a beautiful rocking chair. Very large. After 3 months, the left arm rest fractured in a three inch lone hairline crack. Felt like my wrist was rubbing against splinters. Right arm rest has no breakage.

I bought this rocker for my grandfather and he loves it. It is sturdy and comfortable. Very good value and highly recommended.
