Whitney Bros. 32" H Two Shelf Book Carousel

This carousel was well-priced and shipped fast. It is made of sturdy materials, which I like. One comment to other potential buyers... the carousel is taller than it looks. Just an FYI. Very pleased with this purchase!

It works, and at a price much lower than the competition. But it turns with seeming unease when all the shelves are loaded. And the finish is poor: not well sanded and varnish missing in a few places. But it does the job. For the price, I'm happy so far.

I got this book carousel for my 4 year old's bedroom and it holds quite a few books. I loved that it came fully assembled and is made very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you don't have the books lined up right they can fall out, which has happened a few times when my son tried to pull a book out from the middle of a stack.

Already have one of these for our 2.5 yo. We bought another one for our newborn. Sturdy construction. Well-packaged.

Looks pretty, fits tons of books

I have this in my child's bedroom. I got this when my son was a year and a half, now he's almost 2, and he loves it! He likes that he can access his books at any time. I like it because it stores board books nicely and it also teaches him how to put his books away. I love that it turns so that you are able to store more books, especially the bulky board books. I like that it's sturdy so that my son cannot push it over.

The product arrived without the plug to keep the ballbearings in place and without the three screws to keep the base in place. As a result, the unit was missing half of the bearings needed to turn properly. We tried to correct this by painstakingly putting the ballbearings back into their groove only to have them fall back out of place, when we turned the unit upright. It was too heavy to send back, so now it is just an expensive bookshelf that does not turn.

I just go this shelf for my 6 y.o. daughter and I am very happy with this purchase. It looks pretty and fits tons of books.
