I love this cage but it is too small for our mini rex rabbit to live in full time. We let our rabbit out to roam the house a few hours a day so it is not an issue for us. I love the plastic guard - it keeps everything in the cage. It is also a cinch to clean with the pull out tray. I rated a 4 out of 5 because it was advertised for a rabbit. I researched every small animal cage out there. Wanted the biggest size for the best value. Rabbit need space and this is perfect for when we want to have our bunny nearby in the same roon we are in. Now personally I wouldn't house a rabbit in any cage as it's only home. We have an 8 foot pen to allow Romeo lots of room to roam and play. But we can't take the pen with us to different rooms. So this is the perfect alternative. The cage is sturdy, easy to set up, easy slide out tray for clean up. I did add a grass hay mat for bunny to stand or lay on in half of the cage floor so he didn't have the cage wire floor under his feet at all times while in the cage."..." Read more

Tried the larger Prevue Chinchilla/Rat cage and it was soooo large for our small space plus lots of poops and litter got flung out, so the clear guard is a good thing to have with these guys! Rolls easily and we use brown paper to line the pull out tray. I really like the flooring for chinchillas and small furries...best for their feet. Pretty easy to clean! I use the vacuum on all levels. For our chin, I removed the ramps except the top one so he can jump more (and this works well- they prefer it). So far no chewing on the plastic. Only issue may be the plastic guard breaking- has joints that clip together that could break... PS- Never give your chin a raspberry! (diarrhea for days!)"..." Read more
