All n All not a bad cage however... I just bought this cage for my pet Rat. It really wasn't all that hard setting up the cage itself, however what I didn't like doing was adding the levels to it. That seemed to be the hardest part for me, because the levels of the cage really aren't too stable.. and they keept coming down if I bumped them. And also the sides of the cage, AFTER you hook the hooks to the side of the cage to hold it together, you HAVE to get some pliers and pinch the hook part to make the hooks are tight so it won't slip out of the side of the cage. Also do the same thing with the ramps that go to the levels so the ramps stay on and hooked better. As I said, the cage really isn't a super stable cage.. the wire that the cage is made from bends kinda easy, and the ramps/levels are just wire mesh so I would cover those with fabric or some cardboard then put a strip of fabric over it and get those metal clips that an office supply store would have & clip the fabric/cardboard in place. But I have to say, for the price it's really not a bad cage at all. My Rat "his name is Black Sabbath..after the Rock band :-)", he likes it a lot more than what I had him in before this cage and that was a 10 gal tank (I just bought him not to long ago and only had a 10 gal tank at the time, hints why I bought this cage) I wouldn't say it's a good cage for a baby Rat/Hamster tho because there are places where the cage does not match up with the other sides, that babies could get out of. So far it's pretty chew proof so that's really good news. And, I adore the colors, white with that dark purple is very pretty. I sit some heavy books on the top because since Rats are heavy animals and enjoy climbing the sides, I wasn't sure if he would tip it over if he climbed to the top. But, if you have a hamster that's not nearly as heavy, I wouldn't think you would need something atop it. All in All .. I'm pretty happy with this cage. :-) |

Great!!!!! I got this for my two rats and they love it plenty of room for both of them. The only thing that I don't like is they keep knocking off the ramps but they jump from one ramp to the other so not that big of a deal. Great product fast shipping and great price for it. |

great cage Perfect for my rat, she loves it. Super easy to assemble. Hooks on doors are stiff, but prevent her from getting loose. Tons of room we have even added a wheel for her. We definitely recommend this cage |

Love this cage! Product Review To be fair I'm not using this cage for hamsters or gerbils but for a little parakeet I was given that has very bad splayed legs due to bad breeding practices. She couldn't use the perches in a bird cage and a friend as well as our vet advised us to try this type of cage. She loves it and can get around in it with so much ease. I love the two doors and its easy for me to clean. The size is very good for her. Service Review I got the cage I ordered in a very timely manner and it was well packaged so no damage to the product. |

Pretty Good Cage for the Money When you receive this cage just get your pliers out and make sure you tighten all the hinges right form the start and you should not have any problems if you do. The only thing that did not work was the clasps that hold the the bottom to the rest of the cage. I had to use the once from my old cage. The size is perfect for my rat as I did not want anything too big yet it gives him plenty of room. If you do not want to spend a lot this cage is a very good alternative. It is also easy to clean. |

Needed A Chew Less/Free Cage ! Product Review The cage is good however I wish it was a little sturdier. There were several spots that needed duck tape for sharp edges to prevent injury to the gerbils. The other suggestion I would like to make is to make the bottom pan deeper to decrease the amount of bedding that comes out. Service Review Wonderful...no problems! |

Good For Gerbils My two gerbils have this. It's big, and they like the different levals. Plus, thay can't chew the metal! The levals are a little flimsy, but overall it's good. |
