Walk On Me Lion Kids Rug

Bought the mid-size rug for our son's nursery. It is not a thick rug, but not meant to be one either (we placed it on a rug in the room). It has a very soft feel and is very attractive. Fits with Safari theme. .

My 6yr old has been building her 'jungle' themed room for 2 years, and instantly fell in love with this rug. I was a little hesistant after reading other reviews, but the price was reasonable. This rug exceeded my expectations immediately. It is very soft and has great detail. The rug pile is decent, too, and not overly plush. The size is perfect for her to play on ( bought the medium and she loves that it is bigger than she is), but not so big that it overwhelms the room or space. She likes that it isn't scary looking. She has declared this the "finishing touch" to her room.

This rug is constructed using short nylon fibers - similar to what you would see in very poor quality fake fur - on a very thin rubber backing. The "fur" is about 1/2 inch long, suitable for a wall covering but not as a rug. The image of the lion is blurry and about what you see on the kid's fleece fabric at a craft store. If I saw this in a store, I would expect the 3x4 rug to be priced at about $20. I returned the item.

Very cute but very thin. I wish the company made non-slip pads cut to size.
