Vifah Plantation Teak - Eight Slat

Well, still Kudos to Wayfair for standing behind the product but there are some things buyers should know about installation and cutting. These tiles are made from Acacia Hardwood, not Teak. When cutting, be sure to have an EXTREMELY sharp saw blade or you will not be happy. Depending on the complexity of the cut I used a coping saw, hack saw, and a jigsabre saw so I cut them mostly by hand because the wood wil split and splinter with either too heavy a saw or a dull blade (I learned the hard way!). Be aware that small remaining pieces after a cut will pull apart from the plastic backing and will need to be re-glued. And, the wood crumbles and splits frequently. I would recommend a 20 waste factor if your job requires alot of cuts. Finally, though the material is hardwood, be aware it will splinter both with and without cuts, it will dent if you drop something at all heavy on it, and, it will scratch if you are not careful. But, with proper care and maintenance they make for an affordable and very rich looking end result. The only open issue now is how they will stand up to weather, Texas heatsun, etc. I will update in 6 months.

Wayfair did indeed respond timely and professionally and made concessions that, though it did not compensate for all the extra work and trim moldings I now need to buy due to the size problem, it was a reasonable concesssion. What is important here is that they a) did indeed respond and b) stepped up and took responsibility for the wrong (web-posted)measurements. I will update again later tthis weekend after we startcomplete the cutting and install the moldings. Kudos to Wayfair for standing behind their marketing communications and products!

Ordered and received 250 SF of tiles - order and delivery process was professional and timely. Product quality is excellent. However, these are not 12 x 12. They are 11 x 11 which makes for a big difference in measuring your job, etc. I contacted customer service and they were attentive and listened and promised a timely response and hope I get it because I am now 30 SF short!!!! And, my job is now requiring alot of cutting which I was not antcipating, but it should not be problem. Better than messing with a return, waiting another 10 days, etc., etc. So, be aware as you measure!! In all honesty I would have purchased a different product to get a true 12 x 12 deck tile as it would have made a much more professional looking finished product. But, I stil recommend Wayfair. Good product quality, good service, and fair pricing. I will re-post when I hear their response and resolution.

The color is much darker then the picture, making them even more awesome. Easy to assemble. Thank you very much

My deck looks amazing! These tiles are easy to put together. If they don't snap together easily, you simply use a flat-end screw driver. My deck is 55 x 10. These tiles made it affordable and a stress free do-it-yourself project.

I'm going to use these to cover an ugly (but good condition) tile floor in a second bathroom.
