Oil painting on canvas hand-painted oil reproduction of Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting, branches of an almond tree in blossom. Between 1888 and 1890, one of Van Gogh's favorite things to paint was blossoming almond trees. Inspired by both impressionism and Japanese woodcuts, Van Gogh painted branches of an almond tree in blossom to celebrate the birth of his nephew. His brushstrokes were fitting for the baby, as he combined a sense of fragility and energy: a joyous and hopeful image for the child's future. Known as a prolific post-Impressionist, Van Gogh produced many paintings that were heavily biographical. Vincent Van Gogh's restless spirit and depressive mental state inspired his artistic work. Van Gogh's almond tree paintings represent his search for calm amidst torment and symbolize a break from the more rigid style he took in Paris. Attention to detail and coloring is given in this oil on canvas recreation painted by a professional artist. This work of art awakens the same emotions and beauty as the original piece. Why settle for a print when you can add sophistication to your room with a beautiful, fine gallery reproduction oil painting? Why not grace your home with this reproduced masterpiece? 16 X 20 The Goldfinch by Carel Fabritius was painted in 1654. The simplicity of this painting was very unusual for the Dutch Golden Age and has been the subject of books and movies. Goldfinches were a popular pet since they had long been associated with bringing good health and could be taught simple tricks. This bird was frequently used in Italian Renaissance paintings because of its symbolism. The original was thought to be discovered in the artist workshop after a gunpowder explosion that killed Fabritus at the young age of 32. It is thought that Vermeer may have been a student of Fabritius because of the similar use of color used in backgrounds of paintings. This particular painting was missing for decades before it resurfaced in Brussels. Today it is now in the collection of the Mauritshuis in The Hague Netherlands. Frame Description Galerie White

Youve seen the original read the book and watched the movie. Now you can own a piece of history by purchasing the painting. Girl with a Pearl Earring was painted by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer in 1665. Not much is known about Vermeer or the painting but onlookers and experts can agree on one thing - it is absolutely stunning. After its restoration in 1994 the color has been greatly enhanced giving new life to the painting. Its original name in Dutch is Het Meisje met de Parel. Many critics think that it was never meant to be a portrait and is often referred to as the Mona Lisa of the North or the Dutch Mona Lisa thanks to its similar mysterious shroud and public fascination. Add a piece of history to your collection with this stunning painting. Vermeer (1632-1675) was a modestly successful genre painter during his time but is now considered one of the greats of the Dutch Golden Age. Few facts are known about his masterpiece yet it has inspired a historical novel movie and play of the same name. Own this classic masterpiece today Frame Description Burgeon Gold Frame

The white building located in the center of the scene feels pinned in place as the scene all around feels as though it's spinning, creating a sense of movement which is common in Soutine's paintings. The figure on the path is almost diagonal, as he bends with the curves of the trees. Additional structures off to the left have straight rooftops but the walls look as though they are also bending, creating the kaleidoscope effect. There is much confusion among art historians as to when this piece was painted. Dates of 1918, 1919 as well as 1933 have been suggested but no one is quite sure. Austrian painter Gustav Klimt is renowned for his unique and complex compositions, most of which feature the female figure. This image also knows as 'Lady with Fan', portrays an elegantly elongated woman draped in a characteristically ornate fabric. The lines of its patterning, in combination with the flattened background of natural elements, hide the contours of the unidentified woman's body. They also draw attention in contrast to the large and singularly pale area of visible skin. Her rosy cheeks and stylish hair belie a classical beauty, accented by the upturned corner of her crimson lips. It's a fascinating and intriguing composition that has been recreated with care by our artist's hand. Setting this piece apart are the distinctive metallic accents featured in our Luxury Line of artworks, making this piece even closer to the gilded style that Klimt is so well known for. The quality is more than I expected for a copy. Vincent. White Plains, MD. Tue Sep 10 2019

This painting enjoyed tremendous popularity in nineteenth-century America. It was a style that allowed a painter to tell a story evoke an emotion tell a joke or educate. Largely superseded in the twentieth century by changes in popular taste and improvements in photographic technology nevertheless remains a strong subcurrent in popular taste. One of the most notable painters in this mode was Harry Roseland. Roseland born in Brooklyn New York in 1868 matured as an artist while waves of change were sweeping over the art world. Largely self-taught he chose to paint what he saw. He received some education in art under James Barnard Whittaker in Brooklyn and at first painted some landscapes and still lifes but his natural flair was for telling a story in his paintings. His subject matter was at first highly sentimental and heavily influenced by fashionable taste smartly turned-out young women old folks and idealized farm scenes. He abandoned the mawkishness that is the downfall of so many self-educated artists when he found a topic that was close to home and yet largely unnoticed by the post-Civil War blacks who formed the underpinning of Northeastern society. Roseland's clever skillful scenes of homely activities - such as checkers or letter-reading were remarkably dispassionate and candid for the time though to modern eyes they may seem condescending and dated. They capture with gentle humor a way of life that existed through the first half of the twentieth century and has now vanished. Harry Roseland never left his native Brooklyn dying in New York in 1950 but enjoyed remarkable success as an artist in his chosen specialty improving and maturing continually. The archetype of the independent American artist he never traveled to Europe to study or observe choosing to carve his own path. Frame description victorian gold frame

One of Pierre-Augustes most striking still life paintings is the Grande Vase Di Fiori. The level of detail and dimension he created in this work were unparalleled by his peers at the time. Using Impressionist techniques which were most commonly applied to sweeping scenes in nature he was able to focus in on a single subject while still creating the sense of a moment captured in time. Today the original is in the Louvre. The lush florals in this painting look soft and silky enough to touch yet theres still a dreamy quality that makes them seem almost otherworldly. Renoirs unique skill elevates the typical flower still life to an entirely new level with this painting.
