After trying out bikes at a store, I realized my soon to be 3 year old is not really to ride on her own. She wasn't strong enough to pedal on her own for very long. Since I didn't want to get her a small tricycle that she will out grow soon. I took some time and found this fantastic 12" bike that can grow with her for a couple of years. This is a must have since this bike can save your back. It's so easy to just push the bike while your child takes a break and you can teach them their directional skills at the same time with a easy turn of your wrist. Don't hesitate in getting this as a beginner bike! My now almost 3 years old daughter and I both enjoy our time outdoors a great deal, thanks to schwinn's 12" petunia bike. The bike looks a lot cuter in person than the picture shown! It came unassembled but only took about 20 minutes to put together."..."  Read more

We purchased this bike for our son's 3rd birthday. It was very easy to assemble, and he's loving it. The kickstand is somewhat odd, unless we can somehow adjust it and haven't figured it out. It stands the bike almost directly straight up, instead of leaning so it easily tips over. But that's totally minor. We love the bike and love how confident he is on it. He sometimes falls over on purpose b/c he thinks it's funny. That's how lightweight these bikes are (and how close to the ground the kids sit) and it doesn't seem to phase him when he falls, which is great. SO happy we chose to get this instead of a conventional bike with training wheels!"..."  Read more

A really creative toy as it can be adjusted to most kids who become bored with a specific toy. Consistent with their change in moods and focus, this toy can be changed in so many way that it continues to hold the attention of even the most indifferent kids."..."  Read more

We've owned the like a bike with solid wooden wheels for 3+ years now. It is a cgreat well build bike. Our neighbors have this version with the spoke wheels. I think it is easier to put air in the tires of this one (the other one is not hard, but it a little tight). Be aware of imitations of this bike. LikeABike seems to use better woods and materials. Our bike has endured rugged use over 3 kids and still looks great. I've seen imitations that break after a year of use because the laminates in the plywood are not as good. If you want a bike that you can keep for many kids (or pass down) we've had great success with LikeABike."..."  Read more
