Ten Strawberry Street Nouve Square Dinnerware Collection - Nouve Square Series

I bought a mix of black and white plates, bowls, tea cups/saucers, and coffee cups, a setting for 8 people. The plates states dishwasher/microwave safe, but they are NOT. A month after I bought them, my first black plate cracked into 2 pieces after 1 minute while I was heating up food in the microwave. At first I thought it was just a 1 bad plate. Then recently another plate also cracked into 2 pieces after 1 1/2 minutes. I contacted the company to inform them, 2 days later they stated they would replace 1 plate and also informed me that the plates are not microwave safe. After I contacted the company, I inspected all my plates, low and behold, 1 of my white salad plate also has a crack down the middle. A week later I received an email stating that they discontinued selling these plates because they are not microwave safe and production has been suspended on the entire Nouve collection. Now I have to buy cheap plates to use in the microwave because I do not want any other plates to crack while heating my food. WARNING!!! If you have these plates or you are about to buy these plates, be aware they are NOT microwave safe. This is FALSE advertisement.

I will be using them as everyday plates. They are unique and modern and very pretty.

The style is great. They really look nice on the table. My only problem is the inability to get the 9" Vegetable Bowls to match. They have been on backorder for a very long time. We use it everyday.
