Good solid pieces
Erin L. from Los Angeles
With the help of a male friend I was able to assemble this table and chairs set today. I'd waited for him to come over because I thought the construction would be more intensive than it ultimately was. The table was first and we were pleasantly surprised that the legs and and table were really solid pieces. Attaching the legs and the drop leaves was really easy and took us maybe 10 minutes to put together. Next up was the chairs. We each took one to start. I followed the directions and ended up over tightening and cracking a wood piece and putting two pieces in backwards. Not due to the directions but my own confusion. He followed the guide stickers on the pieces and put some things together intuitively. The chairs were more difficult but probably took 10 minutes each. The included allen keys were difficult to maneuver as some of the needed screwing didn't allow for a lot of twisting space. We ended up using a hex attachment on a screw driver to get into the tight spaces. There were three screws for the seat but only one guide hole the seat. Screwing in the other two screws affectively causes a hole in the wood but guide holes would have been very helpful. After we'd assembled all four chairs we realized that three of them had uneven seats. We decided to unscrew the crooked seats and screw them in again. I'm hoping that the first holes and the new holes won't cause a problem in the future. Pros: - Looks great - Sturdy construction - Easy to put together table Cons: - No guide holes for the chair seats. - Wood cracked under screw tightening - Allen key is awkward (you really need a screw driver with a hexagonal connection.) - The drop leaves are way smaller then they seem in the advertising photo.
Great dining set!

This 5-piece dining set is exactly what I expected. The wood is high quality and the colors are exactly as the picture on the website. It is perfect for a small apartment and the drop leaf makes it even more versatile. The assembly took a bit of time, especially because some holes for the screws were not pre-drilled, but all in all it was relatively simple (if you have the right tools). It shipped within the week of purchasing, however, the expected delivery date was off by two days (late). Despite these minor details you will definitely get a great product for the value with this set!

This is sturdier than one would assume given the price. It looks nicer than the picture here, too. The chair were a bit of pain as others have said, it took about two hours to put the entire set together (we used an impact driver though...). My only complaint is that it seems the white paint chips easily.
AVA 3 Piece Dining Set - Black
KL from Geneva, IL – Verified Buyer
Really cute kitchenette set...exactly what I was looking for. Pretty easy to install other than the chair seats. There are no pre-drilled holes and there is no way you can assemble the seats without a power screwdriver (the instructions state NO power tools to be used). Anyhow, I was able to assemble with a simple cordless screwdriver and it worked just fine. Really like this set - fits a small space perfectly!
Perfect for a dining nook
Jessica from Montgomery, AL – Verified Buyer
This is a cute little dining set. It's not perfect, but then it's not overly expensive either. The only real issue I've had with this set is that one of the drop-down leaves isn't *quite* flush with the table. Everything else seems fine and it's all relatively sturdy. (Make sure you've got the wooden bars which hold the leaves up wedged in tightly.) The chairs are comfortable enough The assembly instructions could be better, but I managed to put everything together by myself without any power tools. Overall, I'd recommend this as a nice inexpensive set.
The Little Table That Could!
Susan from LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL – Verified Buyer
This was exactly what I wanted. Small enough to not overwhelm my kitchen and large enough for everyone who lives here to grab a meal together. Putting it together was easy, I just handed my husband the tools and left the house. It was finished within a half an hour and ready to use. The only downside to this purchase is a rather rough finish on the surface of the table. I ordered a piece of glass from the local glass shop to cover it to prevent any spills from discoloring it and am thrilled with the purchase!
Perfect for small spaces

I wanted something that was modern but still had a quaint feel to it and this fit the bill. It came quicker than expected and though it takes some time to put together it was not difficult. Very good quality for the money. Table is small but big enough for a family of three or four for breakfast area.
Good Price, Well Built

The table and chairs came on time and in good condition. Easy to put together although a bit time consuming. Great little table for our kitchen breakfast nook. Highly recommend this product. My only complaint is that the price increased $50 while I was browsing the Wayfair site. That will teach me to shut off cookies or browse incognito. That $50 cost Wayfair one star.
5 piece dining set
Lenore from Grove City, PA
The 5 piece dining set was easy to assemble and arrived quickly. After putting the table and chairs together I am very happy with my purchase. It is a great set for the money. I needed a small table to fit in my kitchen.

the table is great. It only gets 4/5 because the chairs aren't as stable as I would like (both from a posture and a structural integrity stand point)
